Role Overview
The Global Head of Talent Acquisition is a senior leadership role responsible for building and executing the firm’s end-to-end recruitment strategy across global markets. Reporting to the Head of HR, this individual will lead and develop a distributed talent acquisition function, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the organisation attracts and secures top-tier talent at pace and scale. Success in this role is defined by the quality and efficiency of hiring outcomes, the development of a high-performing TA team, and the establishment of employer branding and sourcing capabilities befitting a global financial platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the global talent acquisition strategy, aligned to the organisation’s growth objectives across multiple regions
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of talent acquisition professionals, establishing clear standards for performance and process
- Partner with senior business leaders and HR Business Partners to understand hiring needs and translate them into effective sourcing and attraction strategies
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment across functions and geographies, ensuring a consistent, high-quality candidate experience at every stage
- Build and continuously optimise sourcing capabilities across direct channels, professional networks, job boards, and referral programmes
- Lead employer branding initiatives globally, ensuring the organisation is compellingly and authentically represented to prospective talent
- Establish and maintain recruitment metrics and reporting frameworks, using data to drive continuous improvement across the function
- Manage relationships with external recruitment partners, staffing agencies, and talent platforms where required
- Ensure recruitment processes are compliant with relevant employment regulations across all operating jurisdictions
- Drive operational excellence in candidate tracking, pipeline management, and stakeholder communication
Key Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of end-to-end recruitment experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership capacity overseeing a talent acquisition team
- Demonstrated experience building or scaling a TA function within a high-growth, technology-driven or financial services environment
- Strong strategic acumen with the ability to translate business priorities into workforce and hiring plans
- Proven track record of designing and implementing sourcing strategies that deliver results across competitive talent markets
- Experience operating across multiple geographies, with a solid understanding of regional hiring dynamics in Asia and/or Europe
- Proficiency in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
- Strong executive stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Data-driven approach to recruitment, with experience building reporting frameworks and using metrics to inform decisions
Preferred
- Prior experience within fintech, digital assets, or broader financial services
- Familiarity with employer branding strategy and its execution at a global level
- Experience managing external recruitment vendors and optimising agency relationships
